Burgess Hill now has an indoor padel club. Foundry Padel Club on Consort Way has four indoor courts, opens from 07:00 to 23:00 every day, and asks for no membership. The club’s website and booking listing show it open, but neither gives an opening date, so we have not guessed one.
What is Foundry Padel Club?
Foundry is a pay-and-play indoor padel club at Consort Way, Burgess Hill, with four courts, a café-bar, Pilates and a golf simulator.
The club describes itself as a new social sports club. Its four courts are what it calls super panoramic, and the building also houses reformer Pilates, a Trackman golf simulator, sports injury and recovery services, and a café-bar. The club says you can watch the courts from a loft area while you wait for your next booking.
It also tells its own story: a local Sussex family runs it, and the building replaced the original on the site, which the club says was lost to a fire.
When did it open?
Foundry is open and bookable, but the club has not published an opening date, and we could not confirm one from a primary source.
The first post in the club’s journal, dated 17 September 2026, still talked about “before we open our doors”. By 29 October the homepage carries a “Book a court” button and the FAQs describe the club in the present tense. One search-indexed booking listing pointed to around 11 October. We could not check that against the club or its booking page today, so treat it as unverified.
How do you book a court?
Courts are booked in advance through Playtomic, which the club uses for bookings, payments and player levels. No membership is needed.
The club says you do not need to book if you only want the café-bar or the social spaces. If you have no Playtomic level yet, it runs levelling sessions as a relaxed way to find where you stand, and its play page lists racket hire. We have not quoted court prices; check the Playtomic page for current rates. Our guide to booking a padel court in the UK covers how Playtomic bookings work.
Coaching and ways to play
The club’s coaching page lists an intro to padel session for people new to the game, beginner and intermediate classes, one-to-one coaching and junior coaching. Its play page also lists mix-ins and tournaments, plus schools, groups and corporate events.
If you have never played, your first padel session explains what to expect before you book the intro class.
Getting there and parking
Foundry is on Victoria Business Park, opposite Consort Ice Cream, at Consort Way, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 9TJ.
The club’s FAQs say it has around 33 on-site parking spaces, including two accessible bays and electric vehicle charging points, plus a secure covered cycle store. The club puts the walk from Burgess Hill station at around 15 minutes. It also describes its four courts as wheelchair accessible.
Other padel in the area
Eixo Padel at Gatehouse Hub in Goddards Green says on its own site that it is open for bookings, with indoor, outdoor and kids courts. For wider Sussex options, see our guides to padel in Brighton, Crawley and Horsham. If you are weighing a covered venue against an open-air one, indoor vs outdoor padel sets out the trade-offs.
Hours, courts and facilities in this article come from the club’s own website on 29 October 2026. Check the club or Playtomic before you travel.
