Head’s UK site shows 36 results on its padel bags page, including kids’ backpacks, tennis travel bags, shoe bags and several colourways of the same bag. For a casual player the choice comes down to how many rackets you carry, whether you need a shoe compartment, and how you get to the court. This guide reads Head’s own product pages, checked on 2 November 2026, and sets the prices against one UK stockist. For the wider picture on bag types, see our padel bags UK guide.
Head padel bags at a glance
Head’s padel racket bags run from £40 to £130. The table gives each model as Head’s UK product page lists it, with Head’s price and a second price from PDH Sports, a Derby retailer, on the same day.

| Coello Pro X Padel Duffle Bag L | 60 L | 6 | Yes | £130 | £98.49 |
Head also sells a limited-edition Retro Padel Bag (£100, 45 litres), which showed as out of stock. The short version: the Base Padel Bag M is the entry price, the Tour and Pro X bags are the sensible mid-range for players who carry shoes and kit, and the duffles are for players who carry more than a session’s worth.
Base and Tour: the budget end
The Base Padel Bag M costs £40 and, per Head, has an upgraded shape and reinforced construction for matches or training. Head’s table lists a six-racket capacity, three racket compartments and one zipped pocket, but gives no litres, no shoe compartment and no climate control. A six-racket figure on a medium bag is generous, so we would look at one in a shop before relying on it.
The Tour Padel Bag L at £80 adds a shoe compartment, three racket compartments and Head’s CCT+ climate control, which Head says protects rackets from extreme temperatures. It holds 40 litres, and Head describes new padding, new top handles and more comfortable backpack straps. The navy version showed as out of stock on Head’s site on 2 November. Head’s pages for two colourways give different zipped-pocket counts (two and four), so compare the exact colour before you buy.
Pro and Pro X: the bigger bags
The Pro Padel Bag L and Pro X Padel Bag L both cost £90 and hold 45 litres. Each lists two racket compartments, a shoe compartment, CCT+ climate control and, in the Pro X’s case, three zipped pockets against two on the Pro. The Pro X page also lists a six-racket capacity, which the Pro page leaves out, and says the Pro X fabric comes from recycled PET bottles. At the same price, the Pro X Padel Bag L is the one to pick on paper.
The Pro X Padel Duffle Bag L steps up to 59.5 litres for £110, with six rackets, two racket compartments, five zipped pockets, a shoe compartment and a two-way carry system. Head lists it as new. PDH Sports lists a “Pro X Duffle Bag L Black Dark Grey” at £103.99 with a £130 RRP, which is £20 above Head’s own £110, so check that the stockist’s product name matches Head’s before you assume a saving.
What does the Coello edition add?
Head’s specs match the standard Pro X bags, and the Coello versions cost £15 to £20 more for a dark grey design with Arturo Coello’s crown logo.
The Coello Pro X Padel Duffle Bag L is £130 against £110 for the Pro X duffle, and the specification lists are the same: six rackets, two compartments, five zipped pockets, a shoe compartment, CCT+ and a two-way carry (60 litres against 59.5). The Coello Pro X Backpack 30L is £110 against £95 for the Pro X Backpack 30L, with two rackets, a shoe compartment and three zipped pockets on both. Head says both Coello bags were created with Arturo Coello, who also has a signature line in Head’s padel racket range.
The Coello Tour Padel Bag L (£90) and Coello Tour Padel Backpack 25L (£70) have no specification table on Head’s pages, only a description of a new dark grey design with gold and red touches. We cannot compare them with the standard Tour bags, which are £80 and £70. PDH Sports lists the Coello Tour Padel Bag L at £69.99 against Head’s £90.
Should you buy a backpack or a racket bag?
Head’s backpacks run from 17 to 30 litres and hold one to three rackets, while its larger racket bags run from 40 to 60 litres.
Head’s padel bags page also lists backpacks that its own product pages file under tennis bags, so read the spec before you buy. Backpacks suit a walk, cycle or train to the court. Our do you need a padel bag guide covers when a backpack, or no bag at all, does the job.
| Backpack | Capacity | Rackets | Shoe compartment | Head UK price | PDH Sports |

| Base Backpack 17L (filed as tennis) | 17 L | 2 | Not listed | £24 (was £30) | £22.49 |
| Pro Backpack 23L | 23 L | 1 | Not listed | £60 | Not listed |

| Coello Pro X Backpack 30L | 30 L | 2 | Yes | £110 | £84.99 |
The Base Backpack 17L at £24 is the cheapest bag on the page. For two rackets and a shoe compartment, the Pro Backpack 28L at £65 is the cheapest backpack on Head’s list.
UK prices and where to buy
Head’s prices on 2 November 2026 are the figures it labels “Final price”, including VAT. Delivery on head.com/en_GB is free from £150 and takes 7 to 10 business days, with free returns, so most bags in this guide carry a delivery fee when bought directly.
PDH Sports undercut Head on every model we compared, and the table shows the prices on the same day. Its Base Padel Bag M was £31.99 against £40, the Pro X Padel Bag L £71.99 against £90, and the Coello Pro X Padel Duffle Bag L £98.49 against £130. The Tour Padel Bag L ranged from £59.99 in orange to £63.99 in navy, and a sage version was £36.00, which looks like a clearance price. PDH’s Tour Backpack 25L 2026 was £47.99 in blue with a £60 RRP, £10 below Head’s own £70, so the two sources disagree on that bag’s list price.
Stock moves quickly, and navy versions of several Head bags were out of stock at Head on the day. Our padel bags UK guide gives retailer prices for entry-level backpacks, and our Babolat padel bags guide lays out another brand’s range in the same way. If you are pairing a bag with new kit, our Head padel shoes guide covers the shoes that go in the shoe compartment.
