Chorley has padel. The town’s search volume – around 200 searches a month for “padel Chorley” – reflects the fact that a proper venue has been operating here for a while now. If you’re in Chorley, Euxton, Leyland, or the surrounding villages, you don’t need to drive to Preston or Manchester to get on court.

BOUNC: Chorley’s dedicated padel venue

BOUNC at Buckshaw Village has four indoor padel courts, costs £24 per hour, and is bookable via Playtomic with no membership required.

BOUNC is the venue that’s put Chorley on the padel map. Opened on Ordnance Road in Buckshaw Village (PR7 7EL), it runs four indoor panoramic courts with 360-degree perimeter lighting – the kind of setup that works year-round regardless of the Lancashire weather. The courts are super-panoramic structures with AI cameras, meaning you can record your sessions automatically if you want to review your play later.

Court hire is £24 per hour, bookable through Playtomic. Divided across four players that’s £6 per person – reasonable for an indoor facility. The venue also runs group sessions, including Ladies Beginners Americano and Mixed Americano Play formats, giving newer players a structured entry point that doesn’t require knowing three other people to take a booking.

Facilities include free parking, changing rooms and showers, equipment rental (so you don’t need your own racket), a cafeteria, and Wi-Fi. The venue is wheelchair accessible. BOUNC is available seven days a week; check Playtomic for the current slot availability.

David Lloyd Chorley

David Lloyd Chorley on Moss Lane in Whittle-le-Woods has padel courts as part of its wider gym and sports offer. Its padel page describes them as brand new but does not give a court count. Padel comes with Platinum membership, so this option suits players who already hold David Lloyd membership or are considering joining for the gym alongside padel.

Members book through the David Lloyd app. Rackets can be borrowed and balls bought at the club, per its padel page.

If you’re a casual player without an existing David Lloyd membership, BOUNC is the more practical option – open to everyone, no subscription required.

Chorley’s place in the Lancashire padel scene

Chorley sits in a strong position for padel access. Preston is around 15 minutes north on the M6 corridor, and Just Padel Preston on Corporation Street (PR1) has two indoor panoramic courts in a city-centre location, open 24/7. Our guide to padel in Wigan covers the town 15 minutes to the east – it has its own venue at the Cotton Works and a six-court Soul Padel facility opening later in 2026.

Warrington is roughly 25 minutes south and carries a growing padel scene worth knowing about if you want more court options or competitive play. See the Warrington padel guide for details.

For the widest range of venues in the region – more than 70 courts across 20-plus sites – Manchester is around 35 minutes from Chorley. If you’re looking for a specific competitive environment or coaching programme not available locally, it’s worth the drive. The Manchester padel guide covers the full picture.

Bolton is 20 minutes east and has Just Padel Bolton on Nelson Street – eight indoor courts open around the clock. A practical choice for off-peak midweek sessions. See the Bolton padel guide.

If you’re newer to the sport and trying to find somewhere to start, our guide to finding a padel court near you walks through how to use Playtomic and what to expect when you first book.
